DADSC has been given a £3000 donation from McDonald’s in the Community Trust, a charity set up by franchisees in Scotland to distribute to good causes the revenue from the Scottish Government’s carrier bag charge.

Adam Buchanan-Smith, McDonald’s Dunfermline franchisee, said: “I am delighted to be able to use our Trust to help good causes in our local community such as DADSC, as they work to give people with a disability the chance to enjoy the facilities the rest of us often take for granted.”

John Simpson, secretary of DADSC added: “We’re so grateful to McDonald’s and to Adam for this generous contribution. The money will go towards improving access and facilities at KDM Group East End Park for anyone with a disability or mobility problem, especially those who cannot use the stadium’s function suites because of the steep access stairs.”
